    Fitness means commitment to a lifestyle. It's about giving your body an optimal amount and type of work to do, as well as managing its intake food, in order to keep it going for a long time.

    People often say to me, "Lee, I just like my food too much to go on a diet". My reply is to say, I am never hungry. Sure, when I wake up in the morning, I am ready for a hearty breakfast, and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have a modent lunch early in the afternoon, and usually a snack in the early evening. I rarely have a traditional dinner with all the fixings. Yes, during the holidays, I will eat a lot more than usual, but it's an exception, and it's more about enjoying good food with relatives and friends. A couple of times a year won't knock me off my lifestyle for the all the other days of the year.

    And I never feel hungry. If I ever do have a longing for that icing-covered muffin washed down with a latte, I'll indulge myself.
